Zach Walker
RACING BIO:
The management of McGuire-Langdale is pleased to have ex-Ofoto third year pro Zach Walker join the team. During a breakout season in 2003, he showed great promise at the US National Time Trial Championships as well as several National Racing Calendar events. The spring of 2004 saw Zach show great promise with a solid performance at the Redlands Classic. Most of the remainder of the year was limited due to a broken collar bone, but he returned to form in the later part of the season and looks to continue his success into 2005. The staff expect Zach to become a workhorse that will be a great asset to the team GC riders.
PERSONAL INFO:
Off-season he is pursuing a Masters Degree in Computer Science at San Jose State University. Zach also holds the distinction of having been handcuffed by the SFPD after pushing team mate Jackson Stewart up the hill on Fillmore Street during the San Francisco Grand Prix. Spare time hobies include playing the guitar, cooking and computers.
